Kirsty Black

Kirsty is a full-time abstract artist working from her studio in Maraetai, Auckland. For Kirsty storytelling is a family tradition - it brings people together and creates a sense of belonging. She sees painting as an extension of this tradition, a medium where imagination has free rein, both in the creation and interpretation of the work.
