Matthew Carter

Winner of the Glaister Ennor Award in 2009 and a finalist in many major art awards in New Zealand, Matthew studied in the UK at Exeter School of Art and Cardiff School of Art & Design and in 2009 graduated with a Master of Art and Design at AUT. Matthew’s paintings often explore urban and industrial spaces. He is represented by NKB gallery in Mount Eden, regularly exhibits at Northart, Northcote and he teaches at the Browne School of Art.
