Matthew Carter

Matthew studied at Exeter Art College, Cardiff School of Art and at Auckland University of Technology. His paintings explore overlooked urban and industrial spaces. He won the Glaister Ennor Award in 2009 and is often a finalist in many of the major art awards in New Zealand. Matthew has paintings in collections around the world, including The Arts House Trust collection in New Zealand. Represented by Föenander Galleries.
